The photographs were taken at Durbar Square in Kathmandu, Nepal 2017. Almost two years after the earthquake, leaving behind many deaths and ruins, I was unable to capture or document anything related to the natural disaster. At that point I started to photograph using my belly, my instincts, with only a minimum of my visual sense. The pictures result to be very apocalyptic. The cartoonish looking images relate to the imagination. The pictures are not manipulated, only retouched and balanced out.
